CCP and deviantART have joined forces with the Create a Starship Contest, a chance to show off your creativity that will leave its mark on EVE. The winning entry will make its way into EVE Online as a ship asset. The contest will be judged by both CCP and deviantART, and runs through October 13, 2010.

The newest Chronicle is about a strange event in a familiar place

"Jita 4-4" is a new EVE Chronicle written by CCP Dropbear. Published every other Monday, Chronicles are intended to examine the various aspects of life in EVE. The entire list is contained here, and a comment thread for this particular story may be found here.

The next mass test on the Singularity test server will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 20:00 UTC and is expected to last for 1.5 hours. This mass test will focus on grid loading after making jumps, stuck modules, and EVE Voice. We are seeking at least 350 pilots, though 550 or more would be ideal.

During downtime on Monday, September 6 the EVE Online websites will be offline between 11:00 to 11:30 UTC. This downtime will be used to upgrade the firmware on all websites and will affect the eveonline.com, account management, EVE API, bug reporting and customer support sections of the website and EVE Gate.
